Marcy Avenue

A photographic journey through New York.

Marcy Avenue - a subway station in Brooklyn. The starting and finishing point of this year's voyage of discovery through the international metropolis of New York City.

These impressions gave rise to photographs that show the city in its many facets: the iconic skyline, Central Park, the vibrant streets and impressive buildings. Digital processing transforms the images into works reminiscent of oil paintings, exuding a certain 1960s nostalgia.

The exhibition Marcy Avenue is a tribute to the American metropolis on the banks of the Hudson - to its energy, its stories and its timeless appeal.
