Silence

Silence has different forms of expression and evokes different associations in each of us. Sometimes we experience it as soothing, sometimes as oppressive. In the exhibition Silence the artist Sabine Walter shows nine photographs that capture silence and invite us to feel the quality associated with it.

Because when we allow silence within us, it opens up a new space for encounters. We encounter ourselves, nature, animals or other people. Silence is never superficial. Silence is touching - which is another reason why we sometimes shy away from it.
