Trees

In the exhibition Trees Sabine Walter focusses on an elementary habitat of our earth: trees - silent sources of energy and at the same time endangered beings.

In the photographs and artistically processed images, they emerge from the familiar and become independent pictorial bodies. Structures of bark, ramifications and light penetrations condense into partially abstract compositions.

Trees do not appear here as part of a landscape, but as individual, almost characterful beings. Their presence appears calm and powerful, but at the same time vulnerable. Without being loud, the exhibition thematises the vulnerability of a system on which we are directly dependent.

The exhibition invites us to take a fresh look at the relationship between man and nature.
